Our exclusive travel programme

Day 1: Arrival in Málaga

Arrival at the hotel near Málaga. Pick up the motorbikes and dinner together.

Day 2: Torremolinos - Tarifa - Tangier

150 km

The crossing to Morocco is on the programme. We take the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier. Our luggage will be taken by a van from the hotel to the harbour entrance, where we will pick it up and transport it ourselves to the escort vehicle behind the Moroccan border. After entering the country, we are met by our German-speaking tour guide and transferred to the hotel. We use the rest of the day to explore the lively harbour city at the crossroads of continents and cultures. (breakfast/dinner)

Day 3: Tangier - Meknès

280 km

Start of the grand tour through Morocco. Together with the support vehicle and the tour guide, we travel to the royal capital of Meknès. The picturesque location alone gives the city an extraordinary charm. Particularly impressive are the city walls with the Bab el Mansour, one of the most elaborate city gates in Morocco, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which is also decorated with magnificent stucco and mosaic work. (F/A)

Day 4: Meknès - Rabat - Casablanca

300 km

We leave Meknès and first reach Rabat, the country's capital. The largest mosque in the Islamic world was to be built here in the 12th century. The unfinished building is still remembered today by the Hassan Tower. We then travel along the coast to Casablanca, the country's largest city, with the imposing Hassan II Mosque, which is the fifth largest place of worship in the Islamic world. The day ends with a cosy dinner at Rick's Café, famous from the Hollywood classic "Casablanca" with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergmann. (F/A)

Day 5: Casablanca - Marrakech

250 km

Drive to Marrakech, where we set up camp for two nights. The highlight of the day, and for some the highlight of the whole trip, is the evening excursion to Djemaa el Fna, the place of the jugglers, with storytellers and snake charmers. (F/A)

Day 6: Marrakech

Today is at leisure. If you like, you can join us on a half-day city tour to see the magnificent Saadian tombs with their unique stucco decoration, the Koutoubia Mosque (from the outside) and the Menara Gardens, a huge olive grove with a water basin and the backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains. We use the time for individual sightseeing, shopping or relaxation. Our tour guide and the support vehicle will of course also be at our disposal today. (F/A)

Day 7: Marrakech - Boumalne - Dadés

330 km

We leave Marrakech and drive along one of the most scenic routes in Morocco to the entrance to the Dades Valley. The route leads through the Haouz plain and over the 2,260 m high Tizi n'Tichka Pass, past the fortress village of Ait Benhaddou via the "Road of 1,000 Kasbahs". (F/A)

Day 8: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud

290 km

After a detour to the world-famous hairpin bends in the Dades Valley, we continue to the impressive Todra Gorge. The steep rock faces there reach a height of 300 metres in places. You will spend the night on the edge of the desert in Erfoud. (F/A)

Day 9: Erfoud - Merzouga

0 km

The desert is calling! We leave our motorbikes at the hotel and take a four-wheel drive excursion to the largest and highest sand dunes in Morocco, the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. We spend the night in a tent camp in the desert, where there is the option of a camel ride and dune excursion (optional). (F/A)

Day 10: Merzouga - Midelt

270 km

If you like, you can enjoy the sunrise in the desert, after which we head north: After starting the motorbikes at the hotel in Erfoud, we set off on a scenic drive through the fertile Tafilalet oasis valley. The route continues through the Ziz Gorge and the barren mountain world over the Tizi n' Talrhemt Pass to the mining town of Midelt, where we spend another night in Berberland at 1,500 metres above sea level, always with a view of the High Atlas. (F/A)

Day 11: Midelt - Fez

200 km

A marvellous and impressive drive through the wild and romantic mountain world of the Middle and High Atlas with its cedar forests awaits us. Our destination for the day, Fès, is the oldest and, with its magnificent palaces, mosques and Koran schools, the "most royal" of the 4 royal cities, as well as the spiritual, religious and artisan centre of Morocco. During the tour, we experience sights and monuments inside and outside the medina and the magic of the Maghreb in all its splendour. (F/A)

Day 12: Fez - Chefchauen

210 km

We enjoy the scenic drive to Chefchaouen, also known as the "blue city" due to its painted houses. Picturesquely situated on the Riff Mountains, the town invites you to stroll and linger. (F/A)

Day 13: Chefchauen - Tangier

190 km

The last stage in Morocco takes us first to Tétouan and then back to Tangier, where we spend the last night on the African continent. (F/A)

Day 14: Tangier - Málaga

150 km

We say goodbye to our Moroccan team at the entrance to Tangier harbour and pick up our luggage for the return journey by ferry to Tarifa in Spain, where the luggage vehicle is again waiting for us outside the harbour area. After arriving at the hotel, we pack our bags for the journey home and then hand over the motorbikes for the return journey. We round off our wonderful trip with a final dinner together on the Costa del Sol. (F/A)

Day 15: Departure

Return flight home with many wonderful memories in your luggage. End of the journey. (F)

A frank word among bikers

On guided motorbike tours with your own motorbike, riders and passengers from different countries of origin and with different motorbikes meet for a joint trip. As different as the participants are, as different will usually be the motorbikes, which makes for a fun and interesting trip. As with all group activities, a certain team spirit and adaptation of the individual to the group is necessary on these trips so that everyone can enjoy the trip and their motorbike holiday.

The hotels and accommodation on this trip have been chosen with great care and are of a good or higher standard in Morocco. However, please remember that we are on the African continent. It is therefore possible that not every hotel along the route will be what you are used to as a European. Now and then it may be necessary to exercise a little tolerance. Special consideration was given to parking facilities and security for our motorbikes when choosing a hotel.
