Day 03 - Tbilisi - Chiora

300 km

In the morning we visit Mtskheta, a beautiful little old town near Tbilisi. We then drive to Gori, where Stalin was born and where there is a museum dedicated to him. We also have lunch here. With full bellies, we continue our journey towards the mountains, where we will spend the night in a small hotel in the village of Chiora.

Magnificent vineyards, very old caves and monasteries are on the programme. Passing many small villages, we enjoy the wonderful views that open up before us. Seemingly endless winding roads lead us to Kutaisi, where we set up camp for the night and prepare for the next day.

Day 05 - Kutaisi - Mestia

Our journey continues to Mestia, probably the most beautiful and enchanting region in Georgia. We stop at the Martvily Gorge and the Inguri hydroelectric power station, the largest arch dam in the world and currently the third highest completed dam in the world.

Day 06 - Relaxation day in Mestia

0 km

Today is all about relaxing without our motorbikes. With a local guide, we explore the beautiful town of Mesita and the alpine-like surroundings with their ski resorts and huts. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its countless stone towers.

Day 07 - Mestia - Batumi

Batumi is a young harbour city on the Black Sea and the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. Batumi Boulevard comprises a waterfront promenade with a park and a beach. The old town centre is lined with restored buildings from the 19th century. In the north of the city is a botanical garden, which is home to plants from all regions of the world. Overnight stay in Batumi.

Day 9 - Batumi - Borjomi

230 km

We take small side roads to Borjomi, a spa town in the Lesser Caucasus. During the day we stop at the archaeological museum in Vani and in the evening we take a short walk in Borjomi Park before heading to Bette.

Day 10 - Borjomi - Tbilisi

280 km

On our last stage towards Tbilisi, we visit Lake Paravani, which is located on a plateau 2,073 metres above sea level. We continue to the Dashbashi Gorge, over which a glass bridge with a bar has been built at a height of 280 metres. Amazing serpentine roads, adorned with waterfalls and steep rock faces make our last day of driving something very special. Once we arrive in Tbilisi, we treat ourselves to one last dinner together to review the impressions we have gained in a cosy atmosphere.

Depending on your departure time, you can use the time to pack or explore Tbilisi on your own. We hope that you were so impressed by Georgia that you will come back for another tour with us one day!
