An den Nabel der Welt!

Die Tour mit dem Ziel der Nabel der Welt, wie die Inkas die Hauptstadt Cusco benannt wurde. Am 8. Tag besuchen wir bereits Machu Picchu die legendäre und mystische Ruinenanlage. Die  2 Wochen Tour führt uns an weitere interessante Orte, wunderbare Fahrstrecken von der Küste ins Andenhochland und wieder zurück an die Küste.

In den nächsten 15 Tagen legen wir ca. 2’300 km zurück. Die Höhepunkte dieser Tour: Nasca, die Scharrbilder und Linien die wir aus einem Kleinflugzeug bestaunen.  Nach Abancay eine Motorradstrecke vom „Feinsten“ viele Kurven auf – und ab Fahrten, durch das Tal der Pumas. Die Inka Hauptstatt Cusco. Die Stadt am Nabel der Welt, unser Ausgangspunkt zu der Ruinen Stadt der Inkas Machu Picchu. Bestimmt ein Höhepunkt dieser Tour die Fahrt von Abancay über Chincheros – Andahuaylas nach Ayacucho. Vorbei an typischen peruanischen Dörfern wie es nicht mancher Perureisender zu Gesicht bekommt. Wir durchfahren in diesen 3 Tagen die verschiedensten Klimazonen mit einer Vegetation, die kaum zu übertreffen ist. Vom Andenhochland an die Küste überqueren wir noch den Pass Abra Apacheta mit 4746 Metern danach führt uns die Serpentinen Strasse wieder an die Panamericana. Peru ein Paradies, dass an Vielfalt kaum zu überbieten ist. Vor Lima machen wir nochmals halt in Paracas, von dort aus unternehmen wir Ausflüge in den National Park von Paracas. Der Besuch der Inseln von Ballestas, auch Klein Galapagos genannt, mit seinen Seelöwen, Pinguinen und vielen Meeresvögeln ein weiterer Höhepunkt.

1. Tag Samstag:

 

 Arrival at JORGE CHAVEZ international airport in Lima. Transfer to the hotel in the Miraflores district.

2. Tag Sonntag:

 

City tour in Lima, visit to the Plaza de Armas and the Presidential Palace.

3. Tag Montag: 

300 km

Drive south on the Panamericana to Ica. Visit to the beautiful oasis of Huacachina.

4. Tag Dienstag: 

150 km

Onward journey from Ica to Nasca on the Panamericana. Fly over the Nazca Lines in a small aeroplane.

5. Tag Mittwoch:

460 km

Drive from Nasca to Abancay, with altitudes of over 4500 metres above sea level. Visit to the Pampa Galeras nature reserve with its large herds of vicuñas.

6. Tag Donnerstag: 

200 km

Continue to Cusco, the "centre of the world", as it was called by the Incas.

7. Tag Freitag:  340 km 

Visit to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Bus journey to Ollantaytambo and train journey to Agua Calientes. Overnight stay in a hotel in Agua Calientes.

8. Tag Samstag:

240 km

Early start to visit Machu Picchu. Detailed programme according to travel agency.

9. Tag Sonntag:  360 km

 

 Free time in Cusco. The city at the "navel of the world" offers many museums, churches and restaurants around the plaza.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10. Tag Montag: 

340 km

Departure in the direction of Abancay to Andahuaylas, a typical Andean town at an altitude of 2900 metres. A scenic route with lots of bends and different climate zones.

11. Tag Dienstag: 

250 km

Visit to the city of Ayacucho, also known as Huamanga. A trip off the beaten track through the Andes, 100% Peru.

12. Tag Mittwoch:

Return journey towards the coast. Cross the Abra Apacheta pass at 4746 metres and return to the Panamericana. Arrival in Paracas after 360 kilometres.

13. Tag Donnerstag:

 

Visit to the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas National Park. The islands are also known as "Little Galapagos" and are home to sea lions, penguins and many seabirds. In the afternoon, motorbike tour through the national park.

14. Tag Freitag: 

Fahrt auf der Panamericana von Paracas nach Lima, 250 km.

15. Tag Samstag:

 

 Abflug nach Europa.

16. Tag Sonntag:

Ankunft in Europa.
