Experience the magic of Ireland and Northern Ireland on two wheels!
Our guided motorbike tour takes you along spectacular coastlines, through green hilly landscapes and to the cultural highlights of the island.

We start our adventure in Dublin and drive the famous Wild Atlantic Way with its breathtaking cliffs and hidden coves. Admire the majestic Cliffs of Moher, discover the mystical Ring of Kerry and stroll through the colourful town of Killarney.

In Northern Ireland, the unique basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway and the historic city of Belfast with its Titanic Museum await you. The winding roads along the Causeway Coastal Route offer pure driving pleasure and magnificent views over the sea.

Whether endless coastal roads, charming villages or the rugged beauty of the mountains - this tour is a perfect mix of driving fun, nature experience and Irish joie de vivre. In the evening, you can enjoy a cool Guinness in rustic pubs, ideally accompanied by traditional live music.

The motorbikes travel to Ireland by lorry and are ready for departure at the hotel car park in Dublin at the start of the tour, and we can also take our luggage with us. As you can see, we've thought of everything! So:

Tour dates and characteristics:
From/to Dublin approx. 2,550 km. Difficulty level medium to difficult. Route with motorway sections, town, village and pass roads in varying conditions, some with potholes. Includes mountain crossings, narrow country roads with passing bays, many bends and hairpin bends. Not recommended for beginners or bikers with little experience in alpine terrain.

Our exclusive travel programme

Day 1: Arrival in Ireland

Arrival at the hotel near Dublin. Arrive, pick up your motorbike and enjoy dinner together.

Day 2: Dublin city tour

We start our Irish adventure with a city tour in Dublin and see what you can comfortably visit in one day. To make sure we don't go thirsty, we stop for lunch at the Guinness Storehouse, visit an Irish whiskey distillery and after dinner in an Irish pub, we take the bus back to the hotel.

Day 3: Dublin - County Wexford

225 km

Start of the motorbike tour. We soon get used to the left-hand traffic and enjoy our first few kilometres on the Emerald Isle. Our route south leads directly to the first bends in the Wicklow Mountains National Park. Our overnight stop is in the county of Wexford.

Day 4: Wexford County - Cork area

245 km

The next highlights await you: the medieval town of Kilkenny and the Rock of Cashel (outside). But beautiful bends also sweeten our day in County Cork, where we spend the night today.

Day 5: Cork - Killarney

280 km

The Wild Atlantic Way with its countless bends and panoramic roads - perfect for motorcyclists. Today you will ride your first kilometres on this world-famous coastal road, which will take you to the most south-westerly point of Ireland, the coastal station of Mizen Head. The overnight stop for the next 2 nights is one of Ireland's best-known tourist resorts, famous for its charming streets with colourful facades and lively pubs with traditional Irish music: Killarney.

Day 6: Day trip Ring of Kerry

200 km

Spectacular coastal and mountain landscapes with endless views. Beaches, cliffs and historic ruins along the route. Countless bends, green hills and small mountain passes. Gap of Dunloe, Moll's Gap, Valentia Island. This is the plan for today's day trip on the world-famous Ring of Kerry scenic road. Second and last night in charming Killarney.

Day 7: Killarny - Lahinch

240 km

Before we cross Ireland's largest river at the mouth of the Atlantic on the "Shannon Ferry", we visit a very special museum: the Flying Boat & Maritime Museum tells the story of transatlantic seaplanes. It also tells the story of the origins of Irish coffee - but we won't have that until later! Continuing along the Wild Atlantic Way, we come to the Loop Head lighthouse, the spectacular drive takes us to the overnight stop in Lahinch, a popular surfing spot.

Day 8: Lahinch - Clifden area

205 km

The next highlight awaits in the morning: the Cliffs of Moher are one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Europe. The mighty cliffs rise up to 214 metres out of the Atlantic Ocean and offer an unforgettable view of the sea, sky and the Aran Islands. The rest of the day is no less exciting, with lakes, moors and the dry stone walls typical of Ireland. And of course: bends! Today we set up camp in the Clifden area, the hotel (and its location) will be very special!

Day 9: Clifden - Sligo

265 km

A photo stop at the famous Kylemore Abbey (even if only from the outside) is a must on our tour. We then follow the Wild Atlantic Way north-east past the holy mountain of Croagh Patrick to our hotel in Sligo.

Day 10: Sligo - County Donegal

310 km

The impressive cliffs of Slieve League, which are even higher than the Cliffs of Moher, offer breathtaking views and are one of the scenic highlights of the trip. We then visit the Glencolmcille Folk Village, a lovingly designed museum village that shows traditional life in the west of Ireland. Our overnight stay is in County Donegal, not far from the border with the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Day 11: Co Donegal - Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom

200 km

Malin Head is the northernmost point of Ireland and also of the Wild Atlantic Way. After the obligatory photo stop, we continue to the ferry and take it across the bay of Lough Foyle to Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. And for the next 3 days "miles instead of kilometres". We get the necessary electronic entry authorisation before we start our journey! But before we reach our hotel in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, we admire the "Giant's Causeway": the approximately 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Giant's Causeway" were supposedly formed by the giant Fionn MacCumhaill.

Day 12: Ballycastle - Belfast, Northern Ireland

110 km

What the Wild Atlantic Way is to the Irish, the Causeway Coastal Route is to the Northern Irish! And along this no less impressive panoramic coastal road, the route takes us to the capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast. We spend the afternoon and evening on a city tour of this vibrant city with its fascinating history. The highlight for most people will certainly be a visit to the Titanic Museum, which brings the history of the famous ship to life in an impressive way. Second and last overnight stay in Northern Ireland, in the Belfast area.

Day 13: Belfast - Dublin, Republic of Ireland

260 km

We leave Northern Ireland and make our way back to Dublin, the starting point of our great Irish journey, via picturesque roads and a final ferry crossing. After arriving at the hotel, we pack our bags for the journey home and then hand over the motorbikes for the return journey. At a final dinner together, we can toast to the end of the tour in a convivial atmosphere and look back on our experiences.

Day 14: Departure

Unfortunately, it's time to say goodbye today. Your individual journey home will take place during the course of the day, depending on your departure time there will still be time for a walk or to buy souvenirs. With many wonderful memories in your luggage, you won't be saying "farewell" to Ireland, just "goodbye", perhaps you'll come back one day. End of the journey.

Conditions of travel

The travel conditions for this trip from Motorrad und Urlaub apply. These will be handed out before booking the trip. Minimum number of participants: 12 persons. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to three weeks before the start of the trip.

Pilot Tour 2026

This pilot tour is a sightseeing tour for future trips offered by us. The tour has been carefully prepared and planned "from the office" and has been travelled in sections by our team, but not in its entirety. Short-term "surprises", as well as changes in the course of the tour, including additional kilometres and longer driving days, are possible and do not constitute a defect or reason for a reduction in the trip.

Special notes for this trip:

Travel insurance with foreign health insurance incl. return service (ambulance jet or transport home) and accident insurance is a prerequisite for participation in the tour. In addition, a "motor vehicle return insurance" (e.g.: protective cover) is also required for all motorbikes. The motorbikes must be in perfect technical condition (tyres!) before departure. Technical assistance or spare parts service in case of breakdown or damage is only possible to a limited extent on site. In the worst case, a breakdown can result in the participant having to abandon the tour and return home independently.
