Description
This tour is specially designed for frequent riders who want to experience a lot in a short time. Sightseeing and cultural stops are limited here, mileage is clearly in the foreground. For those who want more sightseeing on the tour, we recommend our future tour Albania XXL!
Tour dates:
From/to Graz approx. 3,000 km. Medium-high difficulty, incl. motorway stages, city crossings and village roads. Generally roads of different quality levels and with possible shortcomings, sometimes with potholes, short sections without asphalt are possible but not planned from the outset. Furthermore, several mountain crossings with numerous curves and narrow serpentines.
Hardly any other country in Europe is as misjudged as Albania. Isolated from the rest of the world for many years by the communist regime, the Albanians have caught up very quickly since the opening and the country has undergone an unbelievably sympathetic transformation. But a motorbike tour to the "Land of the Skipetars" is still a small adventure...
From a motorcyclist's point of view, Albania has an incredible amount to offer, not only on gravel. Great curves in the Albanian Alps on one side and the picturesque coastal road on the Adriatic Sea on the other. And there are also plenty of new asphalt roads in between to "experience" on this trip.

Day 4: Shkodra - Peshkopi (ALB)
240 km
Good weather is the trump card today! And you have to get up very early: If the weather is fine, you can take the Koman Reservoir Ferry. The journey takes you between high rock faces in the direction of the hinterland. And until you reach the night destination of Peshkopi, you will experience a real curve party!
Day 5: Peshkopi - Korca (ALB)
160 km
After a long day, today is another shorter day with another special feature: you will make a short visit to the neighbouring country of North Macedonia. The border to Greece will come close to you several times today, after all, the journey leads to the southernmost town in Albania. Sarander is located on the Albanian Riviera between the Ionian Sea and olive groves on a horseshoe-shaped bay. Here, after a leisurely walk along the shore promenade, you can taste fresh fish and seafood over dinner. Before that, however, there are still plenty of curves and a very special ferry crossing to experience.
Day 7: Saranda - Berat (ALB)

The 100 km to the lunch break are a pleasure of great roads with beautiful curves and many views of the sea.
